Hi! I’m Brenda Cosentino, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), chronic illness warrior, digital nomad and mother of three gorgeous adult children.
Creating a blog for chronic illness was never my dream but yet here I am. For over 20 years I suffered from chronic illness and am currently in remission from chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, bipolar disorder, migraines, adrenal insufficiency, Lyme Disease and several co-infections since November 2014. Like many others, I spent many years trying various drugs and even surgery with no lasting relief. This blog will outline how I recovered using real food, plant medicines, a few supplements and several natural therapies. The results have been amazing and I am now in the best shape and health of my entire life! You can find a detailed post about my story here.
Of course, I want to share what has worked for me. I am a “rebel” in the sense that I am standing up for what I believe in. My ideas aren’t new and many go against popular trends. I actually did the opposite of what the medical system was promoting. My dream is that nutritional therapy, detoxification, gut health and an emphasis on a healthy lifestyle becomes the first line of treatment for those with illness.
After much hard work and self-care, I have recovered my health. Currently, I live and work as a digital nomad with a home base in Merida, Mexico. I live a simple life in a tiny apartment and do not own a car. I rely on my bicycle and my legs to get me around. Many people have asked me how I can afford to live in Mexico. It is very possible to live modestly here on $1200 US per month.
My passion lies in helping others with similar health issues. If you are someone that has tried everything else to regain your health and failed then maybe you will benefit from my approach. Everything that I have done to heal myself is available for free on my blog. If you are interested in some additional help I offer online health coaching. Please go to this page for nutritional therapy and hair analysis.
I hope you enjoy my blog!
Blessings and Best of health!
Brenda♥
